Tweet and Win, Q3 2009 Telerik Twitter Contest

With Telerik's Q3 2009 Release Week set to kick-off tomorrow, it's time to introduce this release's Twitter Contest! Just as we did during Q2 this year, the official release Twitter contest is your chance to have some fun mentioning your favorite Telerik products while earning chances at winning Telerik prizes. This is a great chance for those of you that can't attend the upcoming Release Week Webinars to have a shot at some of this week's prizes.

Here are the contest guidelines for Q3 2009:

• Tweet your favorite Telerik product or feature (or coming Q3 feature!) between Wednesday, November 4th and midnight (Eastern) on Thursday, November 12th
• Include #telerikq309 in your tweet (must be there to be eligible)
• Follow the official @Telerik

That's it! Two winners will be announced on Friday, November 13th. Each winner will receive a Telerik Premium Collection ($1300 value) or, for existing customers, an extension to their current license. Of course, only one entry per Twitter account will be counted, so no spam.

Tweet This: Telerik Q2 2009 Twitter Contest

As you know by now, Telerik is hosting an exciting week of webinars during next week's big Q2 2009 release. There will be a webinar everyday and prizes everyday, too (with a lucky Grand Prize winner taking home a free pass to the PNP Summit and a Premium Collection license). But if attending webinars isn't your thing- or if you just don't have the time- there is now another way for you to get in on the Q2 2009 release fun. Next week, Telerik will be running a "Q2 2009 Twitter Contest" and two lucky winners will take home Telerik Premium Collection licenses. The rules to play are simple:

1. Between 12:01 AM July 6th and 12:00 midnight July 10th, tweet about the Telerik Q2 2009 release
2. Include the "#telerikq209" tag in your tweet for your tweet to be entered in the contest
3. Sit back, enjoy the release, and wait for the winners to be announced on Monday, July 13th on my Twitter account (@toddanglin)

You can tweet about the Telerik Q2 release as much as you like, but we'll only include one "entry" in the random prize drawing per person (or more accurately, per Twitter account, which generally should be one entry per person). You can craft your own original tweet or simply re-tweet what others are saying (just don't forget the important hash tag). If your tweet is really good, we may even feature it after the release on various Telerik online properties (so put those creative tweeting caps on). There aren't many easier ways to have a shot at winning Telerik's $1300 Premium Collection, so take a minute to share your thoughts on our 2nd major release of the year and you just might win a prize!

Silverlight Control Builder Contest 08, Win Telerik's Tools

Are you building custom controls for Silverlight 2? Are you looking for a way to win all of Telerik's tools for free? If you responded with at least one yes, you probably want to check out the brand new Silverlight Control Builder Contest 2008. If you responded yes to both questions, you definitely want to check out the Contest. All you have to do to enter is submit your best custom Silverlight control by August 11th and then hope the judges rank your control in the top 3. If that happens, you'll win some great prizes including Telerik's RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, RadControls for WinForms, Telerik Reporting, and RadControls for Silverlight. There are some rules, of course, (such as, you can only make one submission) so make sure you understand them before you enter. Otherwise, get creative and good luck!

Sitefinity Challenge open, Win free stuff

What better way to spend your weekend than competing in a good 'ol fashioned geek challenge? Actually, it won't take your whole weekend, just a few minutes of your time. What do you have to do to play? Simply head on over to the Sitefinity Challenge start page, read the simple instructions, and get started. You'll have to watch a few short videos showing you some of the cool things that make Sitefinity unique, answer a short 15 question survey/quiz, and that's it! If you answer all 15 multiple choice questions correctly, you'll be automatically entered in a drawing for some fabulous prizes. The first three winners of the random drawing will get a Zune media player ('cuz everyone has iPods these days) and a free commercial Sitefinity license. The next 12 winners won't get Zunes, but they'll still get the $900 commercial Sitefinity license for free! Not bad for an effortless challenge.

You've got until January 31st to play, but I'd suggest you play early so you don't forget. The prizes will be a little late to make Christmas gifts, so I guess you'll just have to enjoy them yourself guilt-free in the new year.
